SJP Appoints New Singapore Chief Executive

has appointed John Elkovich as chief executive for Singapore, effective yesterday. Jerry Pai previously was the full-time CEO, a spokesperson told WBA.

Elkovich will report to Oliver Wickham, partnership director for Asia and the Middle East, UK-listed SJP said in a statement.

At SJP since 2024, when he joined as head of partnership, Elkovich has more than three decades’ experience in financial services, spanning wealth management, insurance, and private banking. He was appointed interim CEO of the Singapore office in April this year.

“John’s proven leadership and deep experience in financial services will be instrumental in guiding our next phase of growth,” Oliver Wickham, partnership director at St James’s Place Asia and Middle East, said. “Singapore continues to be a centre of financial advice excellence, and I’m excited to build on that strength – attracting more high-calibre professionals to St James’s Place as demand for quality advice continues to rise.” 

The UK-listed firm, which expanded into Asia in 2024, has international offices in Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, and Singapore. Total client funds stand at more than £198.5 billion ($268.6 billion).
